Meet Your Local Certified ISR Instructor
I’m a proud mother of two beautiful girls, both of whom have completed the ISR Self-Rescue® program. Having experienced the incredible impact of ISR firsthand, I can personally attest to how life-changing and effective these lessons are.
A Personal Journey to ISR
I was introduced to ISR through friends and neighbors whose children had already learned critical water survival skills. Watching their confidence in the water—and the peace of mind it brought their families—made me realize how essential this training could be for my own children. Living in Florida, where pools, lakes, and beaches are part of everyday life, I knew enrolling my daughters in ISR was the right decision.
The Moment That Inspired Me to Teach
Seeing the instructors work with such care and precision, and watching the children develop real, life-saving skills, left a lasting impression on me. The experience was nothing like any traditional swim lesson I had encountered. I became a strong advocate for the program and deeply admired the passion and professionalism of every ISR instructor I met.
From Passion to Purpose
I had already spent years working with young children in my community and knew I wanted to do more. There was a clear and growing need for ISR instructors in our area, and I saw an opportunity to combine my passion for teaching with a program that could truly save lives.
Professional Training & Credentials
I completed over 80 hours of hands-on, in-water training with real students, along with 120+ hours of academic coursework through ISR. My education included in-depth studies in child psychology, physiology, anatomy, behavioral science, and early childhood development—equipping me to deliver safe, effective, and individualized lessons to each child.
Decades of Experience in Water Safety
Today, I’ve been proudly teaching ISR for over 13 years. I continue to find purpose and fulfillment in helping children develop the confidence and skills they need to survive in the water. The chance to now create an impact in my community—just like ISR once did for my family—is a responsibility I hold with great care and gratitude.
