Did you know?
Drowning is the leading cause of death for infants and young children aged 1–4 in 18 states, with Florida, California, Texas, and Arizona reporting the highest rates.
Infant Swimming Resource (ISR)
is the safest provider of ISR Self-Rescue® swimming lessons for children 6 months to 6 years of age. Going beyond traditional swim instruction, ISR teaches children how to survive in the water.
Your Child’s Safety Is Our Top Priority
With ISR, your child's safety is our first priority. Each lesson is uniquely tailored to your child's needs, based on continuous assessment of their health and skill development. Because every child learns at their own pace, your child will be gently guided through each stage of the program.
Clinically Researched, Proven Methods
ISR’s hands-on instruction method is backed by clinical research and offers a proven system for teaching children how to enjoy swimming while learning critical life-saving skills.
8 Million Lessons — 800+ Lives Saved
To date, ISR has delivered over 8 million lessons, teaching Self-Rescue® techniques to more than 300,000 infants and toddlers. ISR has also educated parents and medical professionals nationwide on effective water safety practices. There are over 800 documented cases of children using ISR techniques to save themselves from drowning — including several of my own students.
Certified, Highly Trained Instructors
ISR Instructors are highly trained and certified. Each must complete annual re-certification and undergo rigorous academic and practical training. Instructors are certified in CPR and First Aid and spend a minimum of 80 hours in supervised, hands-on water instruction with real students.
